Medications that require daily administration should be checked in with your ward's medical coordinator upon arrival. Youth with severe allergies (e.g., bee stings, food allergies) must carry an EpiPen at all times and inform their leader.
Please note any dietary restrictions, food allergies, or special dietary needs on your registration form. Our camp staff will do their best to accommodate common dietary needs. For severe allergies, please contact your ward leaders as soon as possible so we can make advance arrangements.
Yes, you may bring a cell phone. However, phone use is restricted during all programs, classes, meals, and after lights-out. We encourage youth to use camp as a time to step away from screens and be fully present. Phones may be used in cabins during free time. Leaders may collect devices from youth who are not complying with the electronics policy.
Transportation arrangements are made at the ward level. Contact your ward Young Men or Young Women president for carpooling and transportation details. Camp Kahoka is located at 734 Ben Cartwright Ln, Mountain View, AR 72560.
